George Androutsos
Biography
George Androutsos was born in 1976 in Athens, Greece.
He studied painting at the School of Fine Arts of AUTh, he also studied Physics (AUTh) and
holds a Master's Degree (MA) in History of Philosophy (AUTh) and in
2018 completed his PhD at NTUA.
He is a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece and
participates in the international art movement Neutral-ism (Francesco Perili). It has 4 individual
exhibitions in Greece and France and has participated in many group exhibitions and contemporary art fairs in Greece and
many other countries (Spain, France, Italy, Belgium, Japan, USA, Czech Republic, etc.).
Has been nominated and won international awards such as: Power of Creativity Art Prize 2021 by CAC Magazine, Artist of the Future Award,
Contemporary Art Curator Magazine, 2020. Honorable Mention Award distinction among 1072
artists for the "Artist of the Year" 2017, Circle Foundation for the Arts, 2018. Semi finalist, ArtBox
Project New York 01, ArtBox Projects, 2018.
His work has been selected through international jury in the following International Drawing Biennials:
International Biennial of Drawing Pilsen 2014 Czech Rep. Shonan International Fine Art Exhibition, Modern to
Contemporary, SZK Gallery, Kanagawa – Ken, Japan,2019. Also in the Osten Biennial of Drawing
Skopia 2016, 2018 and 2022 in North Macedonia, and finally on the 17th
INTERBIFEP 2018 Bosnia & Herzegovina and in 18th INTERBIFEP, International
Biennial of Portrait Tuzla, 2022, Bosnia & Herzegovina.
His work has been presented on various sites and online magazines,
Greek and international. His works graced the set of the Greek TV series: Emma's house, while
His works have been featured in other TV shows: We Stay Home, Tribute
Dalaras-Tsitsanis, Mega Chanel.
He has written articles in magazines (electronic and printed) and has participated in conferences of
philosophy.
