Biography

My artwork will always be original portrait paintings, drawing in the style of the old masters, landscape paintings, seascape paintings, lakes, valleys, rivers, and more.

Artist Statement

My artwork will always be original artwork by myself including original portraits, seascapes, landscapes, waterfalls, rivers, valleys, flowers, portrait drawings. I can do commission.

What first prompted you to think of becoming an artist?

I used to draw as a kid in school when I was board and I took art lessons at the age of ten and never stopped I painted off and on throughout school until a few years ago I started drawing and painting five to nine hours a day I won som art competitions where I won free teach your self at home art lessons and learn how to paint like Rembrandt and Titian and the old masters those lessons were key to how good I’m painting and drawing now.

What kind of an artist do you ultimately see yourself?

I see myself as a painter who likes to paint in the style of Rembrandt, Monet, Titian, Leonardo DA Vinci,

What are you hoping to communicate to the viewer through your work?

I’m hoping to communicate to my viewer a cultural connection in my paintings if possible something other cultures can relate to also

Can you explain the process of creating your work?

For my oil paintings I paint the background usually with a cool grey or charcoal grey. Let the painting dry and start sketching in features like facial features, after that has dried I apply the skin tones and hair style, Then I paint the clothes and go over the background again.

What is your favourite part of the creative process?

My favorite part of the creative process is having a vision or idea in my mind and being and to express it through the language of art.

Can you give us an insight into current projects and inspiration, or what we can look forward to from you in the near future?

My current projects consist of Portrait paintings and drawings in the style of the old masters. I am currently planning a few masterpieces. I have some portraits I have been painting for two years I hope to finish a masterpiece of art. You can also look forward to many more portrait paintings and drawings in various media.
