Abraham DAYAN

Biography

Try to showing my world vision.

Artist Statement

Try to show my work to mind kind, anywhere, anytime.

What first prompted you to think of becoming an artist?

Because I like drawing and showing my creation, and I try to do it without thinking.

What kind of an artist do you ultimately see yourself?

A painter of imagination.

What are you hoping to communicate to the viewer through your work?

My style my new form, and the way and associate colours, and my emotion.

Can you explain the process of creating your work?

A front of my white canvas, my objective is to create a drawing on it with my charcoal (carré conté), something a drawing that I had never done before, also it must be very well equilibrated because its the most important is the first idea the drawing, figures or cityscapes or others when my drawing is looking good to my eyes, I take a square brush number 1 or 2, and with the side of the brush and with my outremer blue deep colour I repainted on the charcoal lines my drawing, then after a while with the process of drying I put my colours.

What is your favourite part of the creative process?

My favourite part of the creative process is when I am satisfied when I put the blue lines on my drawing, and I like it.

Can you give us an insight into current projects and inspiration, or what we can look forward to from you in the near future?

My project at this time is to move to the south of France to the new art studio to create news idea and news paintings, probably cityscape or landscapes, also very new figurative paintings.
