Artist Statement

The ability to express yourself through art and to express thoughts through color is a
great gift in an ever-faster world. For Fatin Rahmouni it is about accompanying art on
its long journey through many centuries and being a part of it. Street Art and
Contemporary Art is not just a stylistic device or material, it enables the zeitgeist of a generation
to be captured and reproduced. Roughness goes hand in hand with tenderness,
and there are two sides to each of us humans.
It's a rebellion, a fight. In ourselves, with ourselves and also with society.
Against the superimposed, against the norm. An outcry and an announcement.
We're still here. And we fight for our right to be seen. We take everyone on life's journey
of realizing that true adventure lies outside of your comfort zone.
