Artist Statement
ART SAVED THE SOUL OF MY LIFE
I once had a vivid dream under the lovely stars. I will describe it to you.
At the end of a turbulent time, I felt like I was living in the middle of a storm full of loud thunder and frightful lightning. Then came a moment when—scared by the strident noise around me—I got tired of walking from place to place. Whenever I walked, I hurt my feet from stepping on broken glass dipped with poison hidden among the plastic poppies in a modern, discordant, and artificial society. Sitting in a park's garden, among the chirping birds and purring cats, I looked with deep peace at the human robots in steel skins who did not live in peace within their synthetic negative consciousness. I mention peace because it always helps me stay calm enough to tune in to my divine reality: the only objective reality that truly exists.
Therefore, once the balm of my peace healed the wounds on my feet, I found myself completely lost in the world's labyrinth without a guide—or so I mistakenly thought since my intuition unconsciously guided me. In these moments, my wandering and lonely steps on Earth brought me to a crossroad in the middle of life's desert, where I found nothing but loneliness around me. However, there was something special in the atmosphere, and this lonely place I discovered, which made me experience mirages, forced me to look at myself as if I were before a great mirror.
In this surprising mirror that suddenly appeared from a parallel invisible dimension, I saw the majestic image of a divine being with long blond hair radiating an intense golden light and wrapping everything around me: I saw my infinite higher self. And this fantastic apparition spoke and said with a genuine angelic voice, "My beloved soul, close your eyes and look calmly inside your heart. Tuning in with its beats—the heartbeats of the cosmos—you will find an all-powerful light. This light that is unconditional love in universal action, elevating your feelings, will guide you in all your life's circumstances and every area of your world. Call her with faith and confidence in yourself; she will always answer and expand her creative essence through you." Likewise, he added, beaming with happiness before disappearing with a smile, "I love you, I love you, I love you."
In that crucial instance, just these few revealing words made me fall to my knees and cry like a child as I searched for the Creator's Light in my heart. And I say that thanks to this new starting point, I found the sacred fire of creativity that has made me the artist I am now. Our great victory lies in the peace of the pure light: love!
After waking up and taking a few minutes to remember and process my emotions, I exclaimed, "Art saved the soul of my life! Oh, I am grateful beyond words for this truth that breaks the limits of what I thought I could do into a thousand pieces, completely changing the course of my life!"
