Biography
ORNA L.BROCK was born in Israel. She is an award- winning artist. In 2021 She was awarded by the International Art Market Magazine - The Gold list Special Edition Prize #6, as one of the top contemporary artists of today.
She received “The Power of Creativity Art Prize” of the contemporary art curator magazine In 2021. Recently she was awarded the international prize Michelangelo David Prize 2021, of the Academia Italia in arte nel mondo .
During her art career she exhibited in many group shows in Israel & around the world as well as in Solo exhibitions. Her Solo Museum exhibitions was presented in The Bar-David Museum of Jewish Art in Kibbutz Braam, Israel & a solo exhibition in “Uri and Rami Nehushtan Museum” Kibbutz Ashdot Yaakov Meuochad, Israel.
Her most recent art works are featured in the Art book of international contemporary art: “ARTISTI”. 2021 Published by Art Now in Italy & also in the book “The Best Modern & contemporary artists” (2019), The "Art Universal The great Encyclopedia of International Art", both Published by Art Now in Italy & in the"The Power of creativity" art book published by the Contemporary Art Curator Magazine in 2022.
She is exhibiting in the "Plenitude" international exhibition of Arte Borgo Gallery (9/2022), at the Diocesano-San Mateo Museum in Salerno Italy.
She will exhibit in the 7th edition of the Biennale of fine art & documantary Photography at the FotoNostrum Gallery, Barcelona Spain (10/2022), as she recieved an Honorable Mention in the 18th Julia Margaret Cameron competition.
She will exhibit Her Artworks in MEAM MUSEUM in the Forth Barcelona Biennale De arte (11/2022), In Barcelona Spain.

The abstract forms, shapes & spaces created in this series of artworks, are functioning like metonymic figures, Resembling & Reflecting the real world of objects & landscapes as well as my inner world of images, evolving & generating from the subconscious, my inner experiences & emotions.
When I am looking at these artworks from a distance, I can see how they seek to convey the limited & passing memory with an effort to construct & rebuilt it. To achieve an existential or even transcendental experience.
I have the tendency of giving the landscapes that I am creating a romantic quality of the old & archaic, although it is taken from the most common & new. My landscapes are created by taking the ordinary, into new heights & boundaries.
