Biography

"Everyone is an artist, sometimes, even without knowing it."
I use these words to describe my life and my free spirit in a few words.
I am Marco Grechi, aka Mark, and in everyday encounters I look for what is beautiful and makes life lighter.

Life, in addition to many gifts, presents me with wood, paper and colors. Over time I have learned to discover matter as a source of friendship, and everything becomes a traveling companion.

On several occasions I find myself playing with the materials I work with and then creating something, as if I were a child again. Colors and their shades convey emotions that would sometimes be difficult to share with words.

In my journey I appreciate the essential dimensions of human life, what makes every human being unique and unrepeatable. In the same way, lines, colors, shades in a work of art, as in relationships between people, become characteristic elements, in building and composing history.

Over the years, study, the use of color and matter play fundamental roles and are the paths along which I am able to express a vision of life that is called to renew itself.

My communication is sometimes expressed in the confusion of lines, in the quiet silence of a house, in the search for a desire that animates the boats on the lake shore or in the contrasts of men who try to walk 'Beyond' the matter, 'Beyond' the form and appearance of perception.
