"Taking inspiration from the figure of the apple and using its shape as a constructive basis, I then modified the aesthetics of each of the proposed apples, obtaining a sort of colorful portrait of a society with a common morphology and a different culture, my intent is that everyone can accept their own uniqueness" In my sculptural work, the apple symbolizes self-acceptance and the uniqueness of each individual. Inspired by its shape and nuances, I create works that celebrate both the beauty of the apple and the inner journey of each of us. Each apple represents a person, with stories and experiences that make them unique.
EVA, 2024 argilla, smalto, cubicatura, vernice, ferro, cm20x20x18
Combining painting and sculpture, I give each apple a distinctive personality, enriched by details such as stems adorned with ancient nails. The decorative elements not only embellish, but also tell stories and communicate emotions, turning each work into an expression of the challenges and achievements on the path to self-acceptance. In short, my art invites us to recognize and celebrate our uniqueness, promoting a message of love and inner valorization. Through my apple sculptures, I want to stimulate a reflection on our identity and the importance of embracing every facet of ourselves.
