Interview with Mona Niko

Could you please introduce yourself and tell us how you started in the arts? and your first experience in art making?

I am Mona Niko , Born In Tehran ,Iran in 1980 and started painting from Pre School ages with my mother encourages to continue .My fist experience to make Art was back in Art University in Tehran.

How would you describe yourself and your artwork?

My works explores the relationship between our past Persian Culture and Today Modern women`s life style. 

Where do you get your inspiration from?

Ever since I was a student in Art University, I have been fascinated by the essential unreality of the universe. Which all about Love and women feelings which is always on top of it.

What emotions do you hope the viewers experience when looking at your art?

Find out inner emotions of ladies.

When do you know that an artwork is finished?

Once find out reach all compassions and balances in artwork.

What has been the most exciting moment in your art career so far?

Each time after finishing the artworks feeling of new creation would be my most excitement in my carrier.

How long does it take to produce one work?

Its really depends on my mood of work to continue but can say somewhere between 20 days to 30 days.

What exciting projects are you working on right now? Can you share some of the future plan for your artworks? 

Set up my own brand T-shirts production line and Apparels, It took so much time and effort from me, but hopefully become really good at the end.

Do you have any upcoming events or exhibitions we should know about?

Look like have a busy year, in 19th April -23 April have exhibition in Art Expo of New York as well as Art Fair of Laguna Beach starting from 1st June till September.

Where do you see your art going in five years?

What a great question, in Art there is no any limits, but think I will be much more well known and become famous in my field so many people become familiar with my art.
