Sal Ponce Enrile
Sal Ponce Enrile embraces the use of mixed media, acrylics, and textures that add character and depth to the uncensored expression of her work. She was once a legislator and it was her political background that gave her the opportunity to witness the real challenges people in extreme poverty are facing daily. It’s these genuinely kind and generous people she has met that’s given her a unique way to see the world. Today, reflecting on those moments remains her inspiration.
Last April 2019, Sal’s works were showcased in the highly prestigious Artexpo New York, and in December 2019, Sal’s pieces —“Village,” “Dreamers,” and “Redemption”—were part of the Red Dot Miami exhibition, one of Art Basel Miami’s leading satellite shows.
Sal’s works are displayed in private collections in the Philippines, Germany, New York, California, and Spain. Some of her works are also available at FDX Online. Sal is an artist-in-residence at Rossocinabro Gallery, Rome, and is represented by Dragon Art (dragonart.io).
