Amantea, 2024. Acrylics on gallery-wrapped canvas, 76.2 cm x 101.6 cm

Influenced by her upbringing in a culture that valued restraint, Tatyana turned to painting to articulate her inner world with honesty and clarity. Her dynamic compositions, created using a dripping technique, evoke depth, spontaneity, and an almost hypnotic allure. Each piece serves as a psychological mirror, reflecting the complexity and uniqueness of the human inner landscape.

Artist Statement

My art is a journey of emotional expression and creative exploration. For me, painting is a way to translate the intangible—feelings, thoughts, and experiences—into something visual and tangible. Each piece begins with a color that speaks to me, guiding the composition and setting the tone for what will emerge on the canvas.

Coral Spring, 2024. Acrylics on gallery-wrapped canvas, 121.92 cm x 152.4 cm

In my work, I seek to capture the raw, unfiltered emotions that often lie beneath the surface of our everyday lives. The process of creating is both intuitive and fluid, allowing the colors and forms to evolve naturally. I don’t approach the canvas with a predetermined outcome in mind; instead, I let the painting reveal itself, layer by layer.

Fnideq, 2023. Acrylics on gallery-wrapped canvas, 76.2 cm x 101.6 cm

There’s a certain alchemy that happens when emotion meets color, where the act of painting becomes a conversation between the inner self and the outer world. It’s in this space that I find a sense of freedom and connection, where the boundaries between thought and feeling blur, and something deeper is communicated.

Jambiani, 2023. Acrylics on gallery-wrapped canvas, 60.96 cm x 60.96 cm

My hope is that my art resonates with others, inviting them to pause, reflect, and perhaps see a part of themselves within the work. It’s about creating a shared experience through the language of color, one that transcends words and speaks directly to the heart.
