Biography

Dominique is a multi award winning exhibiting fine art photographer, highly passionate about dramatic alpine landscapes and the magic those giants embody.
Playing with light and shadow, different perspectives and techniques to tell emotionally captivating photographic stories is her signature. Her photographs take beholders on a journey to higher grounds, were the air is fresh and filled with the scent of new beginnings, portraying the beauty of nature in her purest form.
Dominique takes inspiration from nature, universal energies and alpine landscapes were she captures grand landscapes, but also more intimite frames and closeups.
Her fine art works have been associated with the works of Karl Christian Ludwig Hofer and Magic Realism is her home.
Entering the digital art revolution which surrounds the crypto & NFT art space, unlocked a hidden creative side in her. With her digital art, Dominique ventures into a parallel pulsing world which combines her classical photography with radiant 2D elements, lustre animations and alluring audios. It allows her to connect universal energies from both worlds, physical and metaphysical, to create an enhanced and deeper experience with the alpine world, which reflects freedom, transformation and inner piece for her.

Artist Statement

Magical alpine lakes, glittering glacier caves, roaring mountain waterfalls, majestic exposed peaks, thrilling and dizzying heights... raw alpine regions incarnate freedom.
The combination of their dangerous and merciless nature with breathtaking landscapes that seem to have manifested out of a fairytale movie, is natures translation of the human transformational process to inner piece. This transformational journey is mirrored in my photography and photo re-constructions.
Through my artwork, I try portraying this duality of existence by sending out visual meditative impulses of transformation into the universe through alpine magic realism to manifest world freedom.
