Biography

Isaiah Legette is a twenty year old aspiring artist and writer from Copiague, New York. Ever since Isaiah was little his artistic interests were mainly focused on drawing. It wasn’t until his first semester of college that he became interested in painting. He currently attends the Institute of Art and Design at New England College, which is located in Manchester, New Hampshire, where he majors in Comic Arts. Isaiah has participated in many art and writing competitions. His biggest achievements so far, in terms of writing, were receiving publication in the America Library Of Poetry's student poetry book titled “Illustrious” in 2019, where his poem “Empire State of Mind” appears, and receiving publication in Wingless Dreamer’s 2021 winter poetry book titled “Snowdrops” where his poem “Deeper Than the Snow” appears. His biggest achievements so far, in terms of visual arts, were having some of his paintings featured in the 10 Year Anniversary Issue of Artist Portfolio Magazine as well as in Issue 47 of the magazine and receiving Contemporary Art Curator Magazine’s Collector’s Vision International Art Award.
