Max Yasmeen
Biography
Max Yasmeen is a British Kashmiri artist based in the UK. A Goldsmiths Fine Art Alumni, her conceptual art practice is based upon magical formations connecting to the primal space of collective consciousness to create Animated Space and promote healing. Yasmeen combines Jungian ideas with elements of Primitivism, Sufi Mysticism, Rave culture, Krishna Consciousness and ritual magic. Exploring the space between waking, sleeping; Life and death.
Artist Statement
I make interdimensional formations based on mystical principles that create a portal to bring the presence of characters from my imagination into the gallery space. To create Animated space and promote healing.
