Paal Bugen
Biography
Education from NTNU and University of Oslo in Finance, Business and Law. It makes me look at art from a different angle a classic art-education will teach. And I am very glad in arthistory. I have painted all my life, and love creating. I started my career as journalist, but went on to investmentbanking. This year I have ehibited in Venezia, Barcelona and Oslo, and have signed for London in september.
Artist Statement
My objective is to give the viewer energetic colors, mystery and beauty, with paintings that change with the light. I want people to see new things in the art and direct their thaughts by asking simple questions or make strange statements. I worked with the Dow Jones-series 10 years until 2020, and then the Corona-series, trying to show what shutdowns does to people.
