Meiqi Zhang

Biography

Meiko is a disciplinary artist from China, majoring in design for emerging technologies for the MFA degree in Fine Arts at School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her works appear in the form of performance, bio art, interactive design, web design, 3D, etc. She constantly challenges to combine traditional art with new technology. She focuses on environmental protection, the relationship between non-human beings and human beings, and de-anthropocentrism. She once won the 6th place in the "All Women" Art Exhibition 2022- 3 Dimensional Category organized by LightSpaceTime.
