Artist Statement

I've gained a strange feeling lately

an appendage not my own

yet one I fear to lose.

It tells me to be receptive

to both blessings and abuse

The 'eye' is greater than the 'real'

and some clouds grow from the soil

It will be us who guides the clouds towards heaven

and we shall be the angels when the story is told

But I crave always a place 

slightly cold from the night

with the chance to reach for the sun
