Biography

Born in Chicago IL. USA amidst great architectural and old world surroundings, I groomed an eye for the beauty of art and the creativity of photography. Being a world traveler at an early age instilled the appreciation of earths beauty and the allure of man-made objects. The fascination with natural beauty and man made objects promote the direction of my work and creative flow. Photography allows me the opportunity to capture moments in time and creatively share this expression of beauty through Still Life, Fine Art imaging.

Artist Statement

My work aims to appreciated earths beauty and bring awareness to the world through the beauty of landscape photography.

What first prompted you to think of becoming an artist?

I have always enjoyed art and the various aspects of its creation, making something out of nothing and the journey to completion. The ability to put forth something tangible from your mind or experience had an definite appealing factor at an early age, however photography spoke to me the loudest.

What kind of an artist do you ultimately see yourself?

I see myself as an artist that can bring awareness to our beautiful earth and the amazing places that we live and visit on our planet, while hopefully bringing attention to its conservation. To show how wonderful and magnificent a place to call home can be astonishingly beautiful and invoke a sense of care and recognition that every day is Earth day.

What are you hoping to communicate to the viewer through your work?

In my work I strive to evoke and communicate earths vast landscapes of beauty and a sense of nourishment, wonder, also needing our conservation and protection.

Can you explain the process of creating your work?

My work starts with mental picture then a active scout for the visual of what I think will be a great photograph, to find a suitable place to match my mental visual. Most times this will require much more such as awaiting the right time of day and suitable situations to capture the image.

What is your favorite part of the creative process?

As a landscape photographer the best part of the creative process is scouting which requires you to be in the natural world absorbing the great beautiful outdoors.

Can you give us an insight into current projects and inspiration, or what we can look forward to from you in the near future?

Currently I am working on new images from various projects to introduce finding my inspiration from the great outdoors.
