Biography

Through my creative practice i continue to explore drawing in its broadest sense using sculptural forms to work with both inner and outer landscapes. Materials tend to be recycled, reclaimed, repurposed or simply found to investigate relationship and connection with an emphasis on stimulating conversation and dialogue about current social or political events that are perhaps challenging or uncomfortable to approach. Whilst continuing the beauty of the aesthetic and the well crafted, investigating humanity through the materials used portraying fragility, strength, process, connection, relationship to environment and space. The creative process is vital to my practice emphasising movement, development, process and creativity, time, the journey.
