Artist Statement

My current artworks are traditional. oil on canvas. To achieve particular expressions and to show the inner spirit of the object, I stylize forms of nature, humans and objects by simplifying them in my unique way. For the last 10 years, I have aimed at the resemblance by observing all objects and transfer onto canvas by signs.

"Property footsteps" 2020

I love this alchemy when personal becomes impersonal and in my opinion, it has a deeper and wider meaning, when a particular object. I never stick for a long time with one particular style. usually, I get bored and already have a new concept and vision in my head. My inspiration comes from my travels, books, art, music, and also, from my inner world. Usually,I follow my intuition.

"Another reality" 2023

The majority of my artworks are multi-layered, combining several different aspects, versatility and minimalism. For many years my favourite technique was the production of collages. I used wood, sawdust, mirrors, textiles, leather and any further materials that at the time came to hand and fit with my idea.

The Moonlight Sonata

With these materials, I achieved richness and dexterity in the surface, and final touches with oil colours connect all pieces of artwork together, for me, it is jazz of the visual performance. But life is changeable and my ideas on the canvas appear in new, sometimes unpredictable ways.
