Biography
Sherry is from the Midwest and began painting full time after retiring to Florida. She currently resides in SW Florida and enjoys painting contemporary abstract. Being mostly self taught she passionately paints in a unique way using lots of color and expressive movements!

Her abstract style draws attention to color first then pulls the viewer’s eyes deeper into the art with intuitive movements of paint. Many pieces of her work with heavy texture, colorful paints, sharp lines and marks reveals her Native American ancestry.

She paints in abstract form her feelings and experiences about life.
She hopes others who enjoy her art connect visually and emotionally creating self-awareness of the emotional complexity of life itself. Instinctively she creates very unusual contemporary abstracts which are inspired by life experiences.
