Currently, Marco divides his time between Hungary and Slovenia, dedicating himself to fine art and street photography. This phase of his career allows him the freedom to explore and document the nuances of everyday life without external pressures.

Artist Statement

Throughout my 30-year career as a photographer, I've traversed the globe, capturing stories that resonate with authenticity and emotion. My early years as a photojournalist with Getty Images in the UK allowed me to document diverse narratives, honing my ability to find the extraordinary within the ordinary.

Now, based between Hungary and Slovenia, I immerse myself in fine art and street photography. This chapter of my life grants me the freedom to observe and capture the subtle, often overlooked moments that define human experience. I believe that the streets are a theater of unposed narratives, where each frame holds a story waiting to be told.

In my workshops, particularly those held in the enchanting city of Venice, I guide participants to see beyond the surface, encouraging them to connect deeply with their surroundings and subjects. My goal is to inspire others to appreciate the beauty in everyday moments and to convey that appreciation through their lenses.

Photography, to me, is more than a profession; it's a lifelong journey of observation, connection, and expression. Through my work, I strive to share the profound beauty I find in the world and to inspire others to discover their unique perspectives.
