Biography
Rania Abulhasan is a Kuwaiti multidisciplinary artist whose work is deeply influenced by her background in fashion and product design. Her work is a meditative reflection on the simplicity and beauty of life, using neutral colors, shapes, and subtle contrasts to emphasize life and movement. Designed to create a grounding experience, her pieces emanate calm, peace, and serenity, offering viewers a quiet space for reflection—a moment to escape the hustle of everyday life.
Active in the fields of art and design since 1998, Rania earned a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from The New School at Parsons School of Art and Design, having studied in both Paris and New York. Majoring in Fashion Design and minoring in Product Design, she simultaneously honed her skills in fine arts at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris.
Rania’s career has been shaped by collaborations with prominent artists, curators, and designers across cultural hubs such as New York, Paris, Milan, Vancouver, Cyprus, Kuwait, and Spain. These experiences have enriched her artistic perspective, infusing her work with both emotional depth and intellectual weight.
Her art invites viewers into a deeper contemplation of life’s complexities, balancing serenity with the gravity of human experience. Through her use of neutral colors, she offers a space where beauty and reflection converge, allowing the soul to linger in a state of peaceful contemplation.
