Biography

Anastasia Yanchuk (artist name Nati) was born in Moscow (USSR/Russia) on July 4, 1986.
She has always had a passion for Art.
The interest for painting was cultivated during childhood, school years and improved during courses of drawing and painting at the Russian State University (RGGU). Then Anastasia graduated in Interior Design and Architecture (2003-2009) in the International Academy of Business and Management (Moscow).
After completing studies she has moved to Italy.
It was a new chapter in her life with 5 years of interval in artistic career. But Anastasia has returned to an idea of becoming a painter. She has chosen an artist name Nati and resumed painted classes.
Her technical improvement has made it possible for Anastasia to take her own personal style to a higher level by fluently combining the world of colors with their innate cosmopolitan caliber.
After developing artistic skills Anastasia has made a decision to pursue a career as a professional artist. Nati has participated in Art Fairs and Exhibitions in Italy, Monte Carlo, Dubai (UAE), has affiliation with PassepARTout Unconventional Gallery in Milan (Italy). Her artworks are also represented by Tablinum Cultural Management (Bellagio, Italy).
Anastasia currently lives and works in Alba (Italy).

Artist Statement

My name is Anastasia Yanchuk and I’m working under a pseudonym/artist name Nati.
I started my Art career a few years ago. Now I am an Alba-based figurative artist (working in Italy).
I find inspiration from music, travelling, traditions and cultures and i try to express it through my art.
The principal theme in my art is femininity and image of women varying across different cultures and ethnic identities. So the goal is to focus attention on differences, particularities and also on imperfections to emphasize a unique aspect of the beauty of each woman.
My aim is to create artworks that influence, inspire and motivate women encouraging them to be stronger.
I’m working mainly in acrylic colours on linen. I love using gold and silver leaf sheets, Swarovski Crystals because of the brightness sparkle in the light. These materials allow me to express my ideas and they give an unforgettable aesthetic pleasure and experience.
Art is a way to add a touch of beauty in our life!
