Artist Statement
Nature, beauty, climate change, spirituality and current events inspire my conceptual artwork, naturalist and creative in my original style.
My medium of choice is oil painting on squared museum canvas.
Being true to myself and always challenge my mind and spirit with new creations feed my soul. Originality is crucial, copying other artists work isn’t right for me.
My style could be defined by my intuitive process facing a blank canvas and start painting staccato, leaving the mark of the brush or the spatula with rhythmic and flow usually in a thick layers of oil painting.
Most of the time I work ‘Alla Prima’ doing all the painting in one session but there are paintings that I keep adding layers even for many months till the desired effect is reached.
Recognized by the global movement Techspressionism based in NYC, I like using design programs on my artworks creating new ways of expression.
Virtual and Augmented Reality are very interesting tools. This year my artwork was exhibited using AR in the environment of the city of Florence, Italy. My Portfolio is also available in AR, the artworks can be visualized in your environment, an awesome tool for art lovers and designers.
