Xavier Yarto
Biography
Self-taught painter with studies in architecture and 20 years of experience in the visual arts. I see art everywhere, color, shapes, urban artistic expressions. During my career I have tried to put in a purely abstract work a very unique touch by creating particular colors that give great strength and impact to my work, I seek to take a point beyond abstract art by combining this technique with a work in high relief of pre-Hispanic culture, which became my main theme for many years, now I have transformed my concept and I have reinforced my portfolio with a new set of colors and this latest trend to recreate in another way the female image to highlight the meaning of each of my muses. I adopted this new trend during the early days of COVID-19, and my work was cataloged by various curators as popmodern expressionism. I started with fictional characters and now my works are inspired by real women who tell their own stories through a brief profile.
