Biography
An intuitive experimental abstract artist, Raven is ever merging her insatiable curiosity for the vast mysteries of the Universe, an immense love for bold colour, and her unfailing optimism for the emotional evolution of humanity, to canvas. She describes her artwork as “living energy transmissions”, as each piece is an activated vibrational collaboration with the various energies that present as she creates.
Every piece is a dance through motion and colour, often featuring metallic accents and subtle shimmers through the various mixed media she incorporates in each painting.

Artist Statement
My impulse to create is a drive that comes from a guidance deep beyond a place where my voice is merely my own.
It may first start as a thickness I feel in my chest - then a fog encompasses my torso that carries density, weight I cannot continue to hold on my own without purging it onto a canvas. Other times it presents as an intense rush of adrenaline, a chaotic tornado building momentum needing to spiral out through my body. This is when I dance the most as I splash color down…but every once in awhile it starts as a softness that slowly soothes - cool shimmery air flowing through each cell of my body as it guides the movements of my brush.
Regardless of how it starts, in the process I always feel as though I have become a reed flowing hollow. The physical conduit for a creation I am no longer leading.
When it is done, I am the observer discovering what was created as if it was never my own.
